This album was fan funded and independently released in October of 2012. It contains songs that mean a great deal to me as they were written for my family. Songs like Redbird, They Don't Make em Like They Used To, The Right Time, The Time is Now and Once You Find Love (duet with my wife Megan.) It's not as polished as my three label albums before it, as I was creating this album without the help of a large team. It was basically me and my friend Doug managing this entire project. I'm still proud of it all these years later. It is an accurate snapshot of where I was at that time in my life.

I just found a box of my indie record MY HEART IS QUIET. When I was 20 years old I was driving myself to every little church across America that would let me come sing my songs. I bought a portable recorder and would set it up in churches or peoples houses and recorded some of those songs. My friend Kirk Rising took the picture. I have so many good memories of those days.
This is the recording that found its way to Nashville and opened the doors for my first record deal. 10 Simple songs and simple recordings.
